First Fuel and Propane (“we,” “us,” or “our”) offers an SMS text messaging program to keep our customers informed about their account and service. This policy explains what messages you may receive, how you consent to them, and how to stop them at any time. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
What messages you’ll receive
If you provide your mobile number and consent, we may send you text messages related to your account and service with us, including:
Account balance and billing notifications
Payment reminders and confirmations
Delivery and service appointment scheduling and reminders
Tank-level and service alerts related to your account
These are account and service notifications only. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.
How you consent
You provide consent to receive these text messages by giving us your mobile phone number on your service agreement, account application, or through your online account, where a consent disclosure is presented. Providing your mobile number and agreeing to that disclosure constitutes your express consent to receive account and service text messages from First Fuel and Propane. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and service schedule. You may receive messages when there is account or appointment activity relevant to you.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. First Fuel and Propane does not charge you for these messages, but your carrier’s standard rates will apply.
How to opt out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and then stop sending you SMS messages. If you want to rejoin, you can sign up again as you did the first time, or contact us, and we will resume sending messages to you.

Privacy
We respect your privacy. We will not share, sell, or rent your mobile information — including your phone number and any consent you provide — with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with subcontractors only in support of providing our services to you (for example, our messaging service provider). All other use and handling of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy
