At First Fuel & Propane, we offer our customers wireless tank monitoring in Columbia County, Albany County, Greene County, Dutchess County, Rensselaer County, Schenectady County, Saratoga County, Warren County, and Washington County, NY. With this service First Fuel & Propane can easily monitor your propane levels right from our office at Route 9H in Hudson, NY. If you’d like to learn more about our wireless tank monitoring system, please feel free to give us a call.
How Does it Work?
Wireless tank monitoring works by placing a tank transmitter into your fuel tank, which is composed of a sensor cable with a sensor at the end. The sensor is able to tell how much fuel is in your tank at any given time. This information is transmitted wirelessly to First Fuel & Propane, giving us the ability to know when it’s almost time to refill your tank.
What are the Benefits?
With wireless tank monitoring, you no longer need to worry about checking the level of your propane tank, or running out because you thought that there was more fuel left in the tank than there actually was. Instead, First Fuel & Propane will be able to monitor your tank for you, and contact you when you’re in need of a refill for your propane tank. The monitors are battery-powered, with a lifespan of over five years, and operate in temperatures from -40ºF up to 140ºF.
